EMMA HANNA
Author and founder
I am a proud mum of three and teacher. I l love writing and have always wanted to write my own book. These little stories came from my personal mental health journey and lockdown during Covid! They are incredibly important to me. I want children, parents, teachers, counsellors (and anyone else who works with children) to read them. I want conversations to start about feelings and all kinds of emotional health, so that children understand they are not alone with how they feel. No child should ever feel alone and I am passionate about normalising emotional and mental health,
CONNIE DUNCAN
Illustrator
‘I have always had a passion for art, and when I was given the amazing opportunity to illustrate these beautiful books at the start of the first lockdown it was a dream come true. With such inspiring stories it was easy to spark my imagination as to what these characters could look like. I remember smiling to myself drawing certain scenes, imaging how a goldfish might look becoming a professor or a tiger in a talent show, the different tales allowing me to use vibrant colours and funny stances to bring the stories to life. As someone hoping to study psychology in the future, the stories resonated with me and my belief in mental health awareness. With pen and paint, l hope to help spread this awareness to younger audiences through the amazing stories Emma has created.’
